This document describes how Poolside Logistics s.r.o., located at Španělská 759/4, Vinohrady, 120 00 Prague 2, Company ID: 17431417 ("the company" or "we"), collects, processes, and protects users’ personal data in connection with the provision of courier and other shipment delivery services.

We need your personal data to provide our services. It allows us to deliver your shipment to the correct address, provide you with up-to-date delivery information, and assist you in case of delivery issues. It also helps us improve our services and protect them from fraud.

• Your first and last name
• First and last name of the shipment recipient
• Contact details of the customer and the recipient (email, phone number, address)

• Shipment information (especially delivery address)

We process personal data only if we have a legal basis and always for a specific and defined purpose.

Contract performance: To deliver your shipment, manage your order, and communicate with you regarding the delivery.

If you provide us with personal data of the shipment recipient, we process it solely for the purpose of delivery based on the legal basis of contract performance.
However, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share this data with us and that the recipient has been informed about such processing.

6. With whom do we share your personal data?

We may share your personal data with delivery partners responsible for delivering shipments.
Specific partners may vary depending on the location and availability of services.

7. Do we transfer personal data abroad?

No. We do not store your personal data outside the European Union.
However, we may share your data with a carrier located outside the EU, especially when delivering shipments beyond EU borders. In such cases, we ensure adequate protection in accordance with the GDPR.

8. How long do we retain personal data?

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing and in accordance with applicable laws.

Contract performance: For the duration of the contractual relationship and for the necessary period thereafter to meet legal obligations – at least 3 years, which is the general limitation period for claims.
We retain billing data for a maximum of 10 years as required by tax regulations.

If you have given us your consent to process personal data, you have the right to withdraw it at any time.
